The Belt Bag

So, I was at the zoo with my girlfriends a couple weeks back when I informed them how I would like a Fanny Pak. They quickly informed me that they would not be seen with me if I did such a thing. I am already thinking, I am carrying around two kids under five, own a mini-van and still have about 16lbs to loose before I am back to my normal pre-child size....will a Fanny Pak really make that huge of a difference??? I decided no.

So, I went out to target in search of a Fanny Pak and found one for $9.99. I also learned that the word "Fanny Pak" is soooo 1990's. They are now called Belt Bags. It has entirely changed my life. I now have two free hands to chase my sweet little tornados and I am standing in an upright position instead of hunkering over with a 10+ lb purse. Not to mention, I will not leave my purse, have to worry about stuff falling out and I can quickly access my cell phone.

So yeah, I have lost a couple buddies....not really, I know they'll love me even with a "Fanny Pak," but it achieved everything I was hoping for. The best part is my husband really likes it....I think it is because my cell phone isn't lost in the abyss of my purse, but maybe he really thinks it actually looks cute.
