First off, the biopsy, well, the captured cells were benign. HOWEVER, the biopsy didn't capture a large pool of cells and so the test actually remains inconclusive. Apparently, 90% of the nodule can show benign and the other 10% can be malignant. Because of this, I will continue to have quarterly ultrasounds. If the ultrasound shows growth, we will re-biopsy. Right now, I am quite content with the findings.
This week something awful happened, my washer AND dryer broke. I have figured a way to rig the washer to work. It involves a pencil. As if that isn't bad enough, the dryer won't turn off. I am able to wash clothes, thank goodness, but it is not ideal. My sweet husband bought me some news ones. Originally we searched Craig's List, but thought since we'd be buying new ones when the house is built, we might as well get them now. The picture to the left is what I think we got (I haven't seen them). AND believe it or not, we got a discount because we got white ones. Whatever, I personally don't care what color they are as long as they wash LOADS and LOADS of clothes. Now I can live without a lot of things, but a washer and dye are not amongst that group.
AND, I finished the Harry Potter Series. I always find it sad to finish an entire series especially a series as entertaining as these. The bonds of friendship were incredible in this book. I loved the surprises throughout. I always like it when an author can create a history for a fictional world and I think Rowling captured that. I can't lie though, dark magic gives me the creeps. I didn't mind the fun little magic stuff they did so much...I mean, I am not a supporter of magic in any realm, but overall it was less EVIL ya know? But MAN, Voldemort, he was one dark and evil dude. Grant it, in every successful book, you have to deal with good and bad, but wow, talk about bad. In the end, however, the presence and absence of love was the real magic. Now I am even more eager to see the movie on July 15th! I am thinking of now reading the Percy Jackson Series....at least to keep me occupied until Suzanne Collins', Catching Fire comes out.
My Granny lent me some music. I love hymns. There is no secret there. Anyhow, Granny had her CD player out and my eye caught a CD called Country Hymns & Songs of Faith. It has several country artists including legends such as Vince Gill and Dolly Parton. Not to mention, Andy Leftwich, an awesome mandolin player who went to White House High School while I was there. As if that wasn't enough, two of my all time favorite hymns, Come Thou Fount and It Is Well With My Soul, are on the record.Other than that, I am enjoying gardening. But you'll have to check out my other blog to get the details on that!
